Welcome to the LMRA Pottery Studio Home page! We are a fully
equipped, non-profit facility for amateur potters. Explore this web site and
find out about the best pottery studio in the DFW metroplex.
The studio is open Monday-Saturday, 8:00 am - 10:00 pm, and Sunday, 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. The studio is closed during class session hours (generally Monday and Wednesday evenings, but check the class schedule to be sure). Our next monthly meeting will be Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Pottery Studio.
News and Announcements
Empty Bowls 2010Tarrant Area Food Bank's gala fundraiser will be Friday, Feb. 19th at the Amon Carter Exhibit Hall. We've pledged to donate 200 bowls, so let's get busy! Anyone wanting to volunteer should .e-mail Janet Rodriguez at hartst@sbcglobal.net
Did you know we have a Yahoo Group for the LMRA Pottery Activity? Check here if you don't find the information you need on this website. It's locker renewal time! Lockers are $5 per year and payment must be received by February 28th. Payments can be placed in the wooden box on top of the microwave. Please include your name and locker number. All lockers not paid for by February 28th will be opened and emptied, and their contents discarded! Anyone wanting a locker should contact Thea.
Trinity Run There are tentative plans to make a run to Trinity Ceramics Feb. 18th. There will be a sign-up sheet in the Studio. Anyone buying clay will be asked to pick it up on the 20th. PIP Survey Please check your e-mail for a survey from Sharon and Kay about Pottery in the Park. We want everyone, not just vendors, to give their opinions on how to make our big fundraiser the best it can be.
